Incident Response Plan: Why every organisation must have one

Like we always say, EVERYTHING is hackable. It's not a matter of if, but when.

All businesses are at risk of Cybercrime. All businesses are at risk of a databreach. 89% of businesses worldwide experienced at least one Cybersecurity incident last year. $3.62 million is the average cost of a breach.

This is why Cybersecurity is everyone's responsibility. We may not be able to fully protect our businesses, however, we can do a lot to reduce our risk.

One of the most important things every business should have in place is an Incident Response Plan.

75% of businesses don't have an adequate plan in place.

SecureOps have published a helpful infographic outlining incident response in 9 critical steps.

Thanks to Dan Williams from CrowdStrike for sharing this.

Every organisation has the power to improve their Cyber fitness. Small changes one at a time can make all the difference. Cybersecurity is not just an IT problem. It needs to start from the top and be driven from within.

Just start with one thing.
